My Educational Philosophy: Creating Life Long Learners
Education is key in a society and community. Without education, things remain at a stand still and progress is not made. Education is the most important thing and is present inside and out of a classroom setting. Students learn best when they are listened to and respected. I hope that I can provide a classroom that helps to engage student minds and create growth in each one. I hope that each of my students sees what they can accomplish and continue to strive for greater knowledge of the world. I hope that they continually ask why and continually try to understand the world around them and better the world around them. The teacher’s purpose in a classroom is to promote life long learning. One strong purpose is the idea of helping to guide a student to obtain more knowledge and helping them to discover. I feel that an effective teacher is understanding, flexible, intelligent, caring, and so much more. All students have the ability to learn. It is the teacher’s responsibility to help understand how to teach each student in a way that they can learn. Teachers owe their students a helpful hand and a dedication to their education. Education is absolutely most important and cannot be accomplished properly without an effective teacher. Conclusively, I believe education is most important in all societies and can help to create a better world.
I believe all children should have equal access to enabling knowledge. All students have the right to an individualized education in a respectful and caring environment. I believe all students are capable of learning and that they learn best by doing. I have a goal of sparking an enthusiasm for learning in each of my students. Within the elementary realm, I think it is important to provide a strong foundation for lifelong learning. I am dedicated to a strong skills and knowledge-based curriculum in order to help assist students become lifelong learners. It’s important to assist students in becoming literate citizens that are active in their society. Presenting content that embraces diversity of people, events, and ideas is key in a well-rounded education.
